After a spell as an actress playing a Doctor on a medical drama, pushing the pharmaceutical agenda on TV, the adrenaline rushes of stage and screen combined with London living meant my adrenals were shot at the age of 28 and I experienced a massive mental and emotional breakdown.
Switching to a career as a decorative artist, my metabolic disease was made worse by the powdered metal pigments and solvents I used every day.
Overcoming depression and anxiety by fasting, inadvertently, as I could not eat, I thought I was beginning to recover.
By the time my kids were born it was obvious that something was very wrong.

Your questions, answered...
Yes. Ferritin is the bodies storage form of iron and should not be floating around in our blood. ANY ferritin in the blood is a sign of dysregulated iron. Anaemia is dysregulated iron. The whole food supplements and remineralising protocols we work with alongside the gut healing of GAPS will balance and regulate your minerals. This will gradually make you feel one heck of a lot better.
Yes. An overload of iron congests the liver and leads to lumpy bumpy cysts, thickening of the womb lining and hormonal imbalance.
Regulating iron with copper and cofactors, as we do in Timeless Cookery Club will help you find your balance.
Absolutely. Gut and Psychology Syndrome heals and seals leaky gut, the cause of IBS and reflux. FODMAP is a restrictive diet that doesn’t actually work to heal the gut lining and recolonise the microbiome.
GAPS will do this. I have tools to deal with pain and to get the liver and blood clean and to flush out toxins which are the source of your migraines and brain fog.
Yes, histamine intolerance and Mast Cell Activation is the bodies inflammation response getting out of control, like an allergy. Heal and seal the gut and allergies subside. We still use ferments, but in a special order and at specific doses to manage symptoms.
Inflammation is part of the healing process, symptoms need to be managed, not suppressed. I have tools for topical relief for itchy skin.
But once the gut is healed and the toxicity is dealt with your flair ups will begin to calm down.
100% yes, in fact, picky eating is the first sign that the microbiome is out of whack and needs serious attention. Fermented foods are exactly what you need. I’ve had great success in helping people with all sorts of addictions. Addictions begin in the gut. The gut brain connection is key. Neurotransmitters are created in a balanced microbiome.
